The opportunity
A welcoming SEN school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a committed professional to help pupils with complex learning and communication needs take an active part in a supportive school day.
What you will do
- Support accessible lessons, sensory activities and communication routines.
- Follow individual support plans and agreed regulation strategies.
- Encourage participation while respecting pupils’ pace and choices.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and care staff.
What you will bring
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
- A calm, reliable approach and strong communication with colleagues.
- Sound professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
