The role
- Provide attentive classroom support for pupils with complex learning and physical needs.
- Assist with personal care, positioning and mobility in line with individual plans.
- Use agreed communication approaches and sensory strategies.
- Encourage choice, participation and independence throughout learning activities.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and care colleagues and record key observations.
What you will bring
- Relevant experience in SEN, complex-needs, health or care settings.
- A respectful, reliable and person-centred approach.
- Confidence following care, moving-and-handling and safeguarding procedures.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
