The opportunity
A specialist SEN school in Croydon is seeking a compassionate support assistant to help pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities access sensory learning and meaningful daily routines.
What you will do
Support sensory activities, communication programmes and positioning routines. Provide respectful personal-care support where required. Notice and record pupils’ responses, preferences and progress. Work alongside teachers, therapists and care staff.
What you will bring
Experience with PMLD, complex needs, care or specialist education. Patience, dignity and strong professional boundaries. QTS is not required for this support role.
