The opportunity
A specialist SEN school in Barnet is looking for a compassionate teaching assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities across learning, communication and personal-care routines.
What you will do
- Support sensory learning, positioning and communication activities.
- Provide respectful personal care in line with individual plans and training.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and care colleagues to promote comfort and participation.
- Follow moving-and-handling, medical and safeguarding procedures accurately.
What you will bring
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people with complex needs.
- A dignified, attentive approach to personal care and pupil wellbeing.
- Reliability, emotional resilience and clear communication with colleagues.
- QTS is not required for this teaching-assistant role.
