The role
- Plan and teach differentiated English lessons across an appropriate secondary curriculum.
- Develop reading, writing, speaking and listening through practical, structured teaching.
- Adapt resources and assessment for pupils working at different starting points.
- Contribute to EHCP outcomes, progress reviews and collaborative planning.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom with clear routines and high expectations.
What you will bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching English, ideally within SEN or inclusive provision.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and confident classroom leadership.
- A reflective approach to assessment, safeguarding and multidisciplinary working.
