The opportunity
A Lewisham SEN school is looking for a Music teacher who can use rhythm, instruments and performance to create purposeful learning and help pupils communicate, collaborate and succeed.
What you will do
- Deliver engaging Music lessons with accessible entry points for different needs.
- Adapt instruments, notation and performance activities for physical and sensory differences.
- Build predictable routines that encourage participation, creativity and confidence.
- Track musical and wider personal progress in practical, meaningful ways.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative education and therapy team.
What you will bring
- Qualified Teacher Status and confident practical Music knowledge.
- The ability to adapt creative learning for pupils with SEND.
- Strong organisation, behaviour support and safeguarding practice.
- QTS is required for this teaching role.
