The opportunity
A welcoming SEN school in Havering is recruiting a learning support assistant to help pupils with speech, language and communication needs participate confidently in lessons and school life.
What you will do
Deliver planned vocabulary, comprehension and communication activities. Use visual prompts, modelling and repetition to support understanding. Reinforce strategies provided by teachers and speech-and-language professionals. Record progress and share useful observations with the team.
What you will bring
Experience supporting communication needs, literacy or pupils with SEND. Patient communication and reliable safeguarding practice. QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
