The opportunity
A supportive SEN school in Hillingdon is seeking a teaching assistant to improve curriculum access, independence and confidence for pupils with visual impairment.
What you will do
Prepare and adapt accessible learning materials. Support safe movement, classroom routines and participation in lessons. Reinforce specialist strategies agreed by teachers and sensory-support professionals. Record progress and share practical observations with the wider team.
What you will bring
Experience supporting pupils with visual impairment, sensory needs or SEND. A patient, organised approach and confident safeguarding awareness. QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
