The opportunity
A welcoming SEN school in Brent is seeking a confident teaching assistant to deliver focused phonics and early-literacy support for pupils who need a patient, structured approach.
What you will do
Deliver planned phonics activities to individuals and small groups. Use visual prompts, repetition and practical resources to build confidence. Record progress and share useful observations with the teaching team. Support positive engagement across the wider school day.
What you will bring
Experience supporting literacy, phonics or pupils with additional needs. Warm communication, consistency and sound safeguarding awareness. QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
